Dr. Ryan Kegg, PT, DPT

Dr. Ryan J. Kegg PT, DPT, OCS is a graduate of the Saint Francis University Physical Therapy Program where he received his Bachelor of Science in 2016 and Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2018. He became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2020. He has ample experience treating a wide variety of patients and diagnoses including orthopedics, sports, neurological conditions, and balance impairments.

Ryan has completed additional specialty training through the Saint Francis University Residency Program to become a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. The program is one of only four credentialed programs in the state.

Treatments performed at the Chestnut Ridge Physical Therapy Clinic include interventions for strengthening, improving motion, gaining endurance, manual therapy including instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilization and application of healing and pain relieving modalities such as electronic stimulation, thermotherapy and cryotherapy.  Unique treatments utilizing tools such as Blood Flow Restriction, IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue massage) tools, the Hypervolt massage gun, DARI motion analysis and other state of the art treatment techniques are available as well.

Ryan also has 10 years of experience in the health and fitness field. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing and hunting, traveling, working out, and enjoying the company of his friends and family.


 

Lakyn Leppert, Physical Therapist Assistant

Lakyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in 2019. During this time she gained experience in cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation and both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.  She then went on to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Allegany College of Maryland in 2021.

Prior to working at Chestnut Ridge Physical Therapy she worked at two outpatient clinics where she has seen a variety of different injuries ranging from amputations, joint replacements, vestibular/balance PT, and orthopedic conditions. In her spare time, you can find Lakyn spending most of her time with her husband and son. They love anything that involves the outdoors but specifically camping, walking, hunting, and spending time with her friends and family.
