Andrea Hochard, PTA, ECP

Andrea is Physical Therapist Assistant / Exercise Physiologist at Chestnut Ridge Physical Therapy

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in 2011. She then utilized her knowledge and skills as an Exercise Physiologist for Somerset Hospital from 2011 through 2013. She worked closely with clients in these years, with post rehabilitative programs, post cardiac rehabilitation, post bariatric surgery, as well as strength and conditioning with local high school sports teams. In 2013, she returned to school and earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Mount Aloysius College in 2015. She then returned to Somerset Hospital to advance her expertise in both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation. In 2016, she pursued an opportunity to work and treat athletes at all levels, as well as working with the general population, in the D.C. Metropolitan area. She worked in the D.C. area for four years, where she also pursued a certification in Manual Trigger Point Therapy, and also began further education with Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Therapy. She has hopes of finishing her education to become a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner. She has vast experience in treating orthopedics, sports, and even neurological conditions. In her spare time, you can find Andrea working out, competing in Spartan Race competitions, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and utilizing her artistic side by making clay jewelry.
